A passion that started in Guatemala and traveled the world


From the first sips of coffee that I sneaked out of my parent’s mugs, to the excessive amounts that got me through engineering school. I have always been passionate about good coffee and knowing where it comes from. This passion made it impossible for me to simply accept bad coffee when I was pursuing my masters, so I decided to start Esperanto to help others discover what good coffee is all about. 


Because coffee is more than a drink, it is an experience. Capable of triggering memories and bringing you back to that family lunch or that first date, bringing a smile to your face. When I pursuit an MBA outside of Guatemala, I realized how fortunate I was to come from one of the coffee capitals of the world, and when I first shared some Guatemalan coffee with my friends and saw their reactions to it, I decided to start the Esperanto.
